Vet Centers will provide services outside normal working hours and at weekends on request, to better serve veterans and their family members.
What a Vet Center does
Vet Centers are run by the VA but sit apart from VA hospitals and clinics. They offer readjustment counseling, bereavement counseling for families, help with military sexual trauma, and referrals into wider VA care. Services are free, and they extend to family members as well as to the veteran.
